River

step

Definition

The river refers to the fifth and final community card dealt face-up on the table. It is the last card to be revealed in most poker variants, following the flop and the turn. After the river card is dealt, there is a final round of betting, and if there are remaining players in the hand, a showdown may occur where players reveal their hole cards to determine the winner based on the best five-card hand combination using the community cards and their hole cards.
