Lo-jack

personposition

Definition

Lo-jack or LJ refers to a player seated one position to the left of the hi-jack. This position is considered one of the early positions at the poker table in a 6 max game. Players in this position are among the first to act after the blinds in a hand, which can influence their strategy as they have less information about opponents' actions compared to players in later positions.

In a full-handed poker game, it's categorized as a middle position rather than an early position. It sits between the early positions (such as under the gun, under the gun +1) and the middle positions (like hijack and cut-off).
