Shove

action

Definition

Also called All-in, it is the action of engaging all of your chips when you want to bet, call or raise. It is a perilous action since it puts you in a situation where you can be eliminated.
If someone has more chips from you and has a better hand, you are eliminated. It is a very interesting weapon since it often shows a lot of strength and can scare your opponents.

When a player is all-in, they can only win a portion of the pot up to their contribution. If other players continue to bet, a side pot may be created for the remaining bets.

When you find yourself in a short-stack situation, it is preferable to opt for a push or fold strategy. In other words, go all in or do nothing. If you want advice on this strategy, we invite you to visit our page that will help you choose the right time to go All-in.
