Showdown

step

Definition

It occurs at the conclusion of a hand when the remaining players reveal their hole cards to determine the winner. It happens after the final betting round when all active players have completed their actions, either by checking or calling the final bet, and there are two or more players remaining in the hand. During the showdown, players show their hole cards face-up on the table, and the best five-card hand combination, using their hole cards and the community cards, determines the winner of the pot. The player with the strongest hand wins the pot, or in the case of a tie, the pot is split among the tying players.
